Requirements to Apply:  A company or concept that includes development of a orally dosed small molecule therapeutic. 

Award Description:  The winning company with orally dosed small molecule drug candidates will receive $3,000 worth of Pharmatek’s unique Hot Rod Chemistry® (HRC®) formulation screening kit and bulk formulation supply.

HRC is a formulation screening kit designed to solubilize drug candidate compounds and prepare them for efficacy testing in animal models. Each kit contains eight non-toxic, orally available formulations that increase the solubility, bioavailability and stability of drug candidates. Formulations have been created using functional excipients that are GRAS and can be found in FDA approved therapeutics. 95% of compounds tested have proven to be soluble in at least one HRC formulation.
