2016 Innovation Competition (Boston, MA)

We are pleased to offer three month's free membership in the Mass Innovation Labs Benches on Demand program.  Mass Innovation Labs is a co-working space with full operations support that launches companies quickly and helps them to efficiently hit milestones.  Our program includes access to conference rooms, interaction areas, event space, and stocked kitchens.  

What is Bench on Demand? This program was created to help support start-up life science companies doing proof of concept or early stage validation R&D. It allows scientific teams to work in the small space they need today with the opportunity to grow into a larger Mass Innovation Lab suite later, if needed.

The Bench on Demand program provides:

-          Full service turnkey lab operations support.

-          Up to 2 scientists per bench.

-          Assigned BSL-1 wet-lab bench equipped with basic lab equipment.

-          In-lab access to shared Mammalian BSL-2 Lab.

-          In-lab access to shared 1-hood Bacterial BSL-2 Lab.

-          Access to Innovation Co-Working office space.

-          Access to CRO services on-site.

-          Work under the Innovation Lab’s permits 

-          Reasonably common life science lab equipment

In support of innovation and the Boston area life science community, Charles River Laboratories is offering a $1,500 cash prize to the top innovaton pitch. The winning pitch will be selected by Charles River Laboratories in advance of the event.
